The Dagom Buddhist Dharma Foundation is affiliated to the Gelukpa ligneage. The gelukpa school was initiated by the great Tibetan Master Dje Tsongkhapa Losang Dragpa at the turning of the XVth century.
Preaching return for the strict code of conduct of the vinaya, Dje Tsongkhapa, emphasized to uphold those rules and also the complete integration of all levels of Buddhist teachings as stated in "The Awakening lamp on the Path" written during the XIth century by the Indian Master Atisha Dipamkara, initiator of the Kadampa lineage.
Our master, Kyabje Dagom Rinpoche, was attached to the gelukpa school in which he had the reputation to maintain discipline and a pure transmission of the teachings of Dje Tsongkhapa. His Dharma transmission activities had him creating links with several Buddhist communities in Tibet, Nepal, India, Mongolia, Thailand, Europe and America.
